We love the Derrington Dresser and its updated take on a traditional Highboy. Highboy's were developed in England in the late 17th century, then quickly became popular in America. In the time of the William and Mary style, we first saw them with a flat top. Then, during the Chippendale period, bun feet were added. As you can see, our Derrington Dresser is a wonderful combination of historical design. Perfect for bedrooms, where you need to stow away additional clothing and accessories.
Designed by a California based company, who keeps quality in mind and strives to build furniture and home accessories that last for generations to come. They manufacture furniture the old fashioned way, by hand, in the United States. Many of their designs incorporate recycled douglas fir from torn-down homes and reclaimed oak from barns, fences and box cars. These reused materials add to the hand finished characteristic of each piece.
