SHIPPING & RETURNS

Freight Items

Large furniture items marked "Freight Shipping" will be shipped at the Large Item Rate. This price is usually calculated by your designer. For some furniture pieces, you may receive your freight charges in a separate email. Freight charges vary due to the size of the item and location it is being shipped to.

All shipments and deliveries are done via third party companies. We will not be held liable for any damages after product has left our warehouse. Any transit damage discovered after the fact and not noted in writing on the bill of lading will preclude a damage claim with the appropriate company. It is the responsibility of the receiver to inspect all items before signing off on the BOL or allowing the driver to leave. If your order arrives in such a condition, please contact us immediately. Ember Home will accept responsibility for defective or damaged product if determined to be a manufacturing or quality issue.

Returns and Exchanges

If for some reason your purchase doesn't work out, we accept returns within 14 days for exchange or refund. Please email assistance@emberhomestudio.com within 7 days of receipt of your order for return authorization. All items must be unused and in new condition with any tags still attached. Returns that are damaged, soiled or altered may not be accepted and sent back to the customer. Any custom orders, artwork, books and sale items are final sale. All shipping charges are non-refundable, and all return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. We recommend all returns be sent insured and with tracking as we cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged products. Please allow 7 days for your return to be processed.

General

Please note, some of our products are vintage items. This makes them one of a kind and slightly imperfect. Our vintage items are thoroughly inspected and meet our standards of quality.

Care Instructions

Most of our items are dry clean only, unless otherwise stated on product page. For our larger upholstered items, we recommend professional cleaner only.

Customer Own Material (COM) - We offer a COM option for certain products. This allows you to custom tailor certain furniture with your own fabrics. Prices do not include fabric. These types of items are typically discussed with your designer.
