TERMS + CONDITIONS
By engaging in an interior design project with Ember Home you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Scope of Work
The scope of work will be outlined in the proposal or agreement provided by the Designer.
Any changes or additions must be agreed upon in writing by both parties.
Design Fee
A non-refundable design fee is required, as outlined in the proposal.
This covers consultations, concept development, and design presentations.
Project Costs
The Client is responsible for all costs related to furnishings, materials, contractors, and other project elements.
These costs will be outlined in the proposal and must be reimbursed promptly.
Payment Schedule
Milestones and due dates will be clearly detailed in the proposal.
Late payments may result in project delays or termination.
Timelines
Project timelines are outlined in the proposal.
Delays caused by the Client (e.g., late payments, slow decision-making) may affect the overall schedule.
The Designer will make reasonable efforts to stay on track with the agreed timeline.
Changes and Revisions
All changes to the original scope must be agreed upon in writing.
Additional fees may apply for changes beyond the initial scope.
Intellectual Property
All design concepts, drawings, and materials remain the property of the Designer until full payment is received.
Upon full payment, the Client is granted a non-exclusive license to use the final design for the intended project.
Termination
Ember Home may terminate the agreement at any time deemed necessary.
The Client must pay for all services rendered up to the date of termination.
PRODUCT POLICIES & RETURNS
Standard Orders
The return policy on standard, non-custom orders is subject to third-party policies.
Custom Orders
Custom orders are not eligible for returns or refunds.
They cannot be canceled once ordered, even if production has not started.
These orders may incur fees if cancellation is permitted by the vendor.
Cancellations on Custom Orders
Cancellations may incur fees, even before production starts.
Manufacturing Defects
If defects are found, vendors may offer repair or replacement in accordance with their policies.
Third-Party Sales
Returns and exchanges are subject to the policies of the vendor or third-party retailer.
Delivery Fees
Original delivery charges are typically non-refundable.
Return Shipping Costs
The Client may be responsible for any return shipping fees.
Restocking Fees
If a return is allowed, a restocking fee may apply.
Damage Upon Delivery
All items must be inspected upon delivery.
Any damage or defect must be reported to Ember Home immediately for potential resolution and are subject to timelines.
